The Baxter International Hotel, Mascot
PBS Building, who constructed the facility, worked in conjunction with Interpod in the supply of 146 purpose-built Bathroom Pods to address the quality control and site access implications, that would have been otherwise difficult in a traditional, onsite-bathroom build.
Intricate design, achieved with control
Each of the high-end 4.5 star bathroom pods, features intricate wall tile patterns, creating an engaging experience within the accommodation suites.
PBS Constructions’ decision to opt for prefabricated bathrooms meant the risk of quality control issues with the strict tile design was eliminated with dedicated, full-time quality control checks at each stage in the Interpod bathroom manufacturing process.
A longer bathroom lifespan
Managing the bathroom specification and delivery closely, gave both the hotel provider and the builder overall comfort in Interpod’s strict quality processes, ensuring bathrooms last long into the future.
The Baxter Hotel was acquired by Ascott REIT in March 2019, and still continues to successfully operate to accomodate travellers in the region.
