Calvary Care’s new development, constructed by Icon NSW, in Ryde called for a 116 bathrooms to their Residential suites. The site offers a variety of Residential Care and Independent Living villas and apartments.

Interpod was pleased to deliver the purpose-built bathroom pods in response to strict design requirements and project construction requirements outlined by our Client & Builder.

Each bathroom features our exclusive Astron Wall Panel system, which has been used across many of our projects as a viable alternative to tiles. The feature panel is easier to maintain and has increased durability which are all bonuses for the resident-centric aged care industry.

All pods were manufactured before being required onsite, giving ICON the flexibility to accelerate the construction program as required. Pods not only enable faster project lead times, they also minimise project management for the wet-areas to ensure a streamlined build.

Bathrooms in an aged facility can be high-risk areas for elderly. Design and material finishes must be selected with hygiene, durability and ease of use in mind. Interpod worked closely with the client & architect to ensure the full design scope was adhered to prior to commencing production.

Purpose-driven design requirements called for a bathroom alternative where quality control could be maintained. Manufactured offsite, Bathroom Pods were a ideal option. Our exclusive Astron wall panel also ensured a hygienic finish for the end user.
