Tenant-driven Bathroom design:

HammondCare honoured strict design requirements that Interpod accommodated throughout design phase. Utilising the intellect of Interpod’s in-house design & engineering team, HammondCare were provided with an Aged Care compliant design that provided a very functional Bathroom Pod space for the elderly tenants.

HammondCare’s focus on creating a comfortable living facility for older people and those with dementia meant the Bathroom Pod design needed to be developed accordingly. The site features nine separate cottages, each with 9-15 beds where the Bathroom Pods are situated.

On track with Bathroom Pods:

The offsite-built Bathroom Pods streamlined the Residential Aged Care component of the build, finishing this element of the project on time. Interestingly, the conventional, site-built bathrooms caused significant delays, pushing the Independent Living Units completion well behind schedule.
