Interpod was pleased to partner with Adco Constructions in the multi-storey hotel project to deliver 247 high-end, glass walled Bathroom Pods.

Branded under the global Inter-Continental Hotels Group (IHG), Holiday Inn Express hotel chain has experienced significant growth over the past few years creating a demand for new hotel facilities across the country.

How Pods facilitated the Hotel bathroom design concept:

The new hotel comprises 9 storeys, including a 2 storey podium for above grade carparking and guest services, and 7 levels of accommodation above.

Architecturally designed pods comprise stunning feature tiles and glass wall paneling, opening into the bedroom suite. Each bathroom pod was manufactured in our Central Coast facility and delivered to site where services were connected and the pods were ready to use shortly after.

Choosing bathroom pods ensured consistent design and strict offsite quality control, minimizing site disruptions that ensured a well finished product.

Consistency was key for maximum client experience & company perception:

A requirement to adhere to strict design parameters and quality control set a benchmark for the project wet-areas. Choosing bathroom pods enabled the quality to be maintained offsite in a facility where consistent design and the IHG brand was upheld and delivered.

Engineered in-house at Interpod, the glass-walled bathroom pods were manufactured according to the Holiday Inn design scope with a very positive completed result.
