Astron Designer Panel – an elevation to reduced maintenance

The decision to use the elegant and hygienic Astron Designer Panels  as a part of this project, elevates the bathrooms to a new level by removing tiles and grout, making them mould-free and looking beautiful with minimal maintenance. The strong and durable nature of Astron’s design means that is completely impervious to water and is exceptionally stain and scratch-resistant – a perfect solution for a large hotel project.

The project drivers

With a strict construction schedule at hand, the Folkestone Group and their partners engaged Interpod to bring much-needed certainty to this significant project. Construction commenced in 2017 with an aggressive schedule set to meet a September 2019 deadline.

How the project played out with Bathroom Pods

By engaging Interpod early in the timeline, all stakeholders involved in the project were able to mitigate the risk involved in the often costly and time-consuming bathroom element of the hotel’s construction.

The successful outcome saw 144 Bathroom Pods designed, delivered and installed in Sydney’s high-end Veriu Hotel project.
