The Baxter International Hotel
Full Case Study Coming Soon!
The Baxter International Hotel is sited in a bustling commercial zone adjacent to Sydney Airport. Planes, trains and cars combine to create a vibrant and energetic environment. The hotel rooms are lifted off the ground plane and sit atop a multi-level carpark screened with vertical gardens. Each room benefits from a full height window allowing one to take in the distant views of Botany Bay, the city and the airport while still feeling a sense of connection to the bustling streets below. The lobby, restaurant, lounge and bar are located on top of the hotel. This space acts as a picture frame through which to view the workings of the airport, Botany Bay and greater Sydney. It is both a refuge from the city and a place that provides connection to the journey of the travellers transiting through the hotel.
